Karen Anne Craver – November 29, 2025

Karen Anne Craver, 66 years old, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for approximately 56 years.

Karen was born on 14 February 1959 to Clifford Ellwood Craver, II and Barbara Anne (Baylor) Craver in Norfolk, Virginia.

Karen was fond of spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, singing and had an appreciation for dance. She was a member most recently of ClayHouse Church and attended General William Mitchell High School, graduating in 1977. She graduated from cosmetology school and spent many years doing hair, which she loved. In addition to styling hair, she also was a claims support provider, and volunteered for Compassus Hospice for many years.

She is survived by her siblings: Linda (Craver) Purdy, Janice Craver Emary, Randolph Craver, and Scott Craver, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, 7-nieces, 3-nephews, 5-great nieces and 3-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, an uncle, an aunt, and great-grandparents.

No visitation is planned at this time. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a future date.
