Katherine Ann Bennett, aka “Ann” passed away on October 5, 2019. She was a resident of Monument since 2018 and was formerly a resident of San Jose, CA.
Ann was born on January 22, 1937 to Arthur and Hildegard Bennett (Hansen) in Fresno Ca.
Ann had a true appreciation for good food and enjoyed cooking, painting and ceramics. Ann was well known for liking her sweets, cookies and Werther’s hard candy.
She is survived by her three loving children, Katherine Pietsch (Bemiss) of Palmer Lake, CO, Robert Bemiss of Palmer Lake, CO and Karen Kearney (Bemiss) of Monument, CO; sister, Louse Detwiler (Bennett), of San Jose, CA; grandchildren Jessica Kearney and Kevin Kearney of Monument, CO; nieces, nephews, and great granddaughters.
A private celebration of life will be held in Monument, CO and her ashes will be taken to California where she will be laid to rest with both her mother and father.
Ann will forever be known for her quick sense of humor and was always a joy to be around. She will be missed by all.
