Liesel Hamel, 75, passed away September 2, 2017.
She was born July 13, 1942 in Germany and was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs. She married Ronald L. Hamel on May 10, 1985 in Germany.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Hamel; two sons, J.P. Plenz, and Ralph Plenz; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Private inurnment in Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.
