Linda Kathleen Pyne came to us on April 19, 1943 in Littleton, Colorado and left this life way too early on April 23, 2014 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As the storm clouds gathered up above, He was there to take her home.
She was a loving wife, mother and friend who truly blessed us even in the end. We will cherish forever the memories we hold in our hearts. She left us with such a beautiful legacy; her love of life, her orneriness, her smile and warm caress. Our sole comfort is knowing she has gone to that place of rest with our Lord and Savior. She has moved on to the valley of green pastures, where the still waters flow, waiting for us to join her in the Glory of our Lord.
We are left to share her memory. Her loving husband Robert Barker Pyne; her loving sons: Dale Wesley Arey (wife Becky), Denis Wayne Arey (wife Laurie), Robert Jesse Pyne (wife Lorinda) we miss you Robbie; her loving daughters: Penny Kay Stacy (husband James whom we also miss), Penny Lynn McBride, and Teggie-Ann Bellamy (husband Marcus).
She is survived by 18 grandchildren: Brandon Allen Arey, Jenifer Marie Stacy-Bozarth, Jordon Richard Arey, Tyler James Stacy, Logan McCoy Arey, Jesse Williams Spencer, Joshua Wesley Spencer, Vanessa Jeanette McBride, Ryan Wesley Arey, David Grant McBride, Jesse “Antonio” McBride, Emma Elaine McBride, Braedon Michael Bellamy, Katie Elizabeth Arey, Kylie Maureen Pyne, Mason John Pyne, Colton Riley Bellamy, Chase Robert Pyne; and 7 great-grandchildren: Kaylee Juliet Arey, Simon Alexander Arey, Aylamah Nicole Ames, Loralei Marie Bozarth, Carson Dale Arey, Ethan Jordan Arey, Maddox James Stacy 9/4/13.
Her loving sisters: Ann Williams (husband Roland deceased), Beverly Fischer (husband Junior), and Lora Joyce Stevens (Dan). She is preceded in death by her father, Dorrel Marion; and mother, Goldie Dee (McEntire) Bramhall; also her brothers: Kenny, and “Bud”; and eldest sister, Eileen Bramhall.
Also survived by a loving mother-in-law, Maxine Arey; brothers: Ray Arey (wife Jocelyn), Gene Arey, Marty Arey (wife Cheryl), and Robert Arey (wife Ann). She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Donald Arey; and Richard “Dee” Arey, husband of 15 years; mother-in-law, Abbie; and father-in-law, Leo Pyne.
Services will be held May 1st 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 4955 Meadowland Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO. 80918.
