Loretta Ann Beckman, age 93, passed away on June 19th, 2025. She was a resident of the Fountain Valley/Colorado Springs area for 57 years. She formerly was a resident of Oakley, Menlo and Grainfield, Kansas. She was a realtor for over 45 years with Lovitt & Associates and Merit Realty.

Loretta was born on October 28th, 1931, to Antone Ziegler and Margaret (Miller) Ziegler in Quinter, Kansas. On March 18th, 1954, she married Dennis Beckman in Oakley, Kansas. They divorced in October of 1978. Loretta married Maynard L. Neese on April 29th, 2003, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Loretta was a member of the VFW Post 3917 and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 38. Loretta and Maynard enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to Arizona where they would spend the winter. They also enjoyed flying in their Piper Cherokee 235 airplane.

Loretta is survived by her son: Gary Beckman; daughters: Brenda (Brian) Erker and Lisa (Paul) Dekker; her grandchildren: Misty Renner, Donald Renner, Destiny Brown, Nicholas Wilson, Anthony Erker, and Lena Tim; and multiple great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Neese, and daughters, Diane Henke and Shirley Renner.

Keeping with her desires, no services are planned. She is entombed in the Garden of Memories Mausoleum at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

Memorials in Loretta’s name may be made to the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of the donor’s choice.
