Lynda Gabriella Murray, a lifelong Colorado Springs resident, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020.
She was born on February 23, 1941 to Gabriel Brock and Ethel (Yates) Brock in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Chitlaw Building in downtown Colorado Springs for the Air Force and even worked at the Pentagon for a period of time. She also played an integral part in raising her grandchildren. On July 3, 1980, she married Joseph D. Murray in Colorado Springs.
Lynda is survived by her children: Donald Hager (wife Laurie), Steven Hager, Tracey Kelly (husband Albert), Susanne Lock (husband Greg); a sister, Nancy Smith; a brother, Steven Brock; grandchildren: Katherine Hughes, Jerry Lynn Carrole, Rachel Hager, Jessica Ebersole, Thomas Ebersole, and Samantha Cruts; and great-granddaughter, Olivia. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers: James and John Hays.
A private family service will be held. Private interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
