Lynn Ann Lewis – December 23, 2025

Lynn Ann Lewis, 64

Born to Harold and LaDonna Lewis and older brothers, Michael & Paul; Lynn graced this world in Germany on October 28, 1961. Lynn’s family was military and eventually settled in Colorado where she would live the majority of her life, making a home and a name for herself. Lynn held many jobs during her working years; most notably Wendy’s & the Air Force Academy. Lynn was also active with Special Olympics and Therapeutic Recreation for many years. Once retired, she loved spending her days with friends at her long time day program with Dungarvin. In her free time, Lynn was an aspiring actress and could be found “studying” with her teenybopper magazines. She also enjoyed making necklaces to give anyone & everyone. She knew no strangers and was kind to everyone, but was a wild card that would take any opportunity to exploit a free birthday dessert. She adored all things fun –  especially movies, parties, dances and a good looking man in uniform; but nothing could top her love of friends, family and bowling. Even when she couldn’t do much anymore, Lynn could be found cheering her friends on at bowling league and wanted to go everyday.

After a fierce and valiant battle with dementia & a heart condition, Lynn’s dance with life on Earth ended on the 23rd of December, 2025.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & LaDonna, as well as her older brother Paul. She is survived by her oldest brother Mike and his wife Angela, niece Mikayla, and grand-niece Mikiyah and grand-nephew Mikah, of Washington state. She also leaves behind many providers and friends who feel her loss enormously.

A Memorial Service in honor of Lynn will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 2:00PM, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will follow at 3:00PM at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Dressing in your favorite outfit, bright colors or party attire is encouraged.
