Mabel J. Roberts, age 84, passed away in her home on March 23rd.

Mabel was born in Jackson, Mississippi. She weighed only two and a half pounds at birth, and her parents were told not to expect her to live, but she proved the doctors wrong. She loved people and welcomed all into her home. Mabel’s door was always open to anyone who was in need; she never turned anyone away.
