Marguerite I. Chevalier, age 91, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1979 and formerly of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was a retired nurse who had for many years worked at the Quakertown Hospital.
Marguerite Irene Heft was born on April 5, 1921 in Quakertown to the late Sheridan and Anna (Courtney) Heft. She will best be remembered for her love of family and animals.
She is survived by her sons: Robert (wife Joanne) Melloy of Coaldale, Pennsylvania; John (wife, Tammy) Vaughn of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Jeffrey Chevalier of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lee (wife, Victoria) Chevalier of Surprise, Arizona. Three Grandchildren and four Great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel, two brothers: Robert and Ralph Heft and her beloved son: Michael L. Chevalier.
Private family graveside services will be held at the Springfield Cemetery in Pleasant Valley, Pennsylvania. Memorials may be made to the SPCA.
