Maria C. Garza – August 1, 2025

Maria C. Garza, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving children. She was 90 years old.

Maria was born on May 3, 1935, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Her life was one marked by strength, devotion, and deep love for her family. A mother to seven children, grandmother to twelve, and great-grandmother to five, Maria’s legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and nurtured.

Maria devoted herself to her family with unwavering faith and compassion. She will be remembered for her warmth, her wisdom, her strong spirit, and the joy she found in simple moments—especially those spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A private burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Maria’s family would like to thank all who have offered prayers, comfort, and support during this time. Her presence will be deeply missed but her memory will forever live in our hearts.
