  5. I just learned of Mark’s passing. I worked with Mark at CDOT in Pueblo/Colorado Springs. He was a good man and a heck of an inspector. Wishing his family peace.

  6. I also worked indirectly with Mark at CDOT. We here are very saddened to learn of his passing. We wish peace and comfort to his family.

  7. Sincere and heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are extended to Mark’s family. We worked together at CDOT for several years – I was his “mentor” for a period of time during his early years with the department. However, Mark provided far more mentoring to me, both then and during subsequent years. Mark had a quiet, subtle, friendly and no-nonsense approach to life and the challenges we face in relationships and work – which was greatly appreciated, respected and educational for me. Rest in peace, my friend.

    1. Thank you, he was a pretty special brother/uncle a gentle giant. He is truly missed
      Tamara ( Nusskern) Larghe

  8. Prayers and sympathies to Mark’s family. I worked with Mark at CDOT and he was great help to me. RIP

  9. I extend my deep condolences to Mark’s family. I loved having a cube next to Mark when he and I worked together in Colorado Springs. He had such a good sense of humor and a great understanding of life. Mark cared about what really mattered and did not let others push him around.

He always brought in the best coffee to office. I will be drinking a cup of Death Wish Valhalla Java in your memory, Mark. You were a generous man and you will be deeply missed.

  10. I worked directly with Mark and enjoyed his expertise, his humor and his work ethic. He was truly one in a million. He will be greatly missed. My sincerest sympathy with his family.

  11. I just learned of Mark’s passing. I’m so sorry to hear. Mark and I worked together at CDOT for over 10 years on fiber optic projects and we’ve remained friends since. I loved getting together with him for lunch, hearing of his new cabin, and swapping stories of getting ‘dem boys from ‘quippa to come over and set things straight when we were challenged. (I had grown up in the Pittsburgh area also.) We would talk with a Jersey accent of “our cousin Tony” coming for a visit to “help people change their minds”. We laughed together and he had a great laugh. I loved swapping funny emails with him about news and memes. He was a great guy. I’ll miss Mark, my great CDOT co-worker and friend.

  12. I just heard of Mark’s passing and send my prayers and condolences to his family and friends. I worked with Mark for 10 years at CDOT and he was truly a great man and a cherished friend. I enjoyed our almost daily conversations at work and outside of work. We shared many conversations regarding spirituality and God over the years. I am a blessed to have known him. See you on the other side my friend.

    1. ❤️❤️ thank you. He was a special man
