Marshall R. Pack, age 92, passed away on March 30, 2012 from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. He was a United States Navy veteran, a self-employed businessman and real estate investor, and had been a resident of Colorado Springs for 42 years.
Marshall was born June 23, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert and Edythe (Stevens) Pack. He married Dorothy Nelson on August 10, 1945 in Salt Lake City.
He was a member of Colorado Springs Country Club, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and the Free Masons. An avid Broncos fan, Marshall was a lifetime season ticket holder. He also enjoyed golfing and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Colorado Springs; his sons: Brian (wife Robyn) Pack of Plano, Texas, Roger (wife Patti) Pack of Edwards, Colorado, and Scott Pack of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren: Erin Self, Riley Pack, Sean Pack and Sofia Pack; and two great-grandchildren: Sienna Self and Brooklyn Self. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Pack, and a brother, Ronald Pack.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow the services at the Colorado Springs Country Club, 3333 Templeton Gap Road. Private entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven.
