Mary Ann Parks, age 77, left this life at her home in Calhan, Colorado on December 2, 2013. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Mary Ann Trojanovich was born September 23, 1936 to Mike and Annette (Vana) Trojanovich. She grew up in Calhan and graduated from Calhan High School. She married William E. Parks on October 3, 1954 at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church in Calhan.

Mary Ann was employed at Current prior to retirement. She enjoyed volunteering to those in need, reading, bowling, going to Cripple Creek, garage sales, and most of all, spending time with her sisters and extended family.

Mary Ann was an inspirational and devoted mother to five: Michael T. (Sheri) Parks of Denver, Colorado; Fawn (Dennis) Strange of Calhan, Colorado; William (Jane) Parks of Denver, Colorado; Marcella (Jim) Mayo of Colorado Springs; and Natasha (Joe) Saurina of Ellicott, Colorado. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Bill; her daughter: Marcella; her grandson: Jack Daniel Shay, and very recently, her sister: Delores Kraft who followed her in death 24 hours later on December 3, 2013.

A Parastas Service will be Sunday, December 8, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Saints Constantine and Helen Holy Theophany Orthodox Church, 2770 North Chestnut Street, Colorado Springs, 80907, with Father Anthony Karbo officiating.

Funeral Services will be held for Mary Ann Parks and her beloved sister, Delores Kraft at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Church. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A luncheon reception will then be held back at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Holy Theophany Orthodox Church.

She will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched.
