Mary Ann Rizzo
August 12, 1940 – November 7, 2015
Mary Ann Rizzo, a 20 year resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on November 7, 2015. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, the third of four siblings that were born to Elizabeth and Andrew Bermudez. Mary Ann and her husband, Frank, owned and operated a salvage business in New York. After he passed in 1989, she worked in retail sales.
Mary Ann is survived by her brother, John of Colorado Springs; two grandchildren: David and Jayne; and great grandchildren: Eleanor and Kennedy of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Peter; parents and two siblings.
Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
