Mary Lou Martinez, age 70, passed away on March 28, 2025. She was a resident of Colorado Springs.

Mary Lou Martinez was born on November 1, 1954, to William Oliver Stuck and Lena Carolyn Bessette (Fraizer) in Burlington, Vermont.

Mary Lou loved spending time with her family and friends. Her Family was the most important thing in her life. Her life was marked by always putting others ahead of herself and never meeting anyone that she did not make a friend of or include in family activities or celebrations. She was always trying to help someone in need. Anyone that had a chance to know her would tell you what a kind and loving person she was. She enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, playing poker, and taking long drives to Pueblo. She had a love for animals. All remember her kindness, graciousness and unceasing humor.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Roland Warden; her loving children: Lyle Butch Swan (Michelle Swan), Peter Martinez Jr, Natasha Marie Torres-Garcia (Fidencio Torres-Garcia), Charles Dudley Martinez (Jennifer Berreth), and Howard Roland Warden Jr (Athena Pearson); her mother: Lena Carolyn Frazier; her siblings: Michael Stuck (Tammy Stuck), Rosemarie Marsh, and Kenny Lees; her grandchildren: Ashley Swan, Nadine Swan, Angel Maldonado (Alizea Atencio), Bowdie Swan, Isaiah Martinez, Noah Martinez, Noel Martinez, Charles Berreth, Kallista Martinez, Bella Martinez, Tristin Martinez, Gabriella Randleman-Warden, Brynlee Warden, Oaklee Warden, Jolena Warden, Remington Warden, and Isabella Hansford; and her great-grandchildren: Angel Maldonado Jr (AJ), Alailah Maldonado, Aviana Maldonado, Santana Swan, Jovanni Rael, Jason Bryan Rael, Rose Swan, Gilbert Martinez, and Maxine Martinez. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Sue Stuck (Osterbuhr), and her father, William Oliver Stuck.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
