Mellany Lynn Solis passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was a resident of Canon City for 35 years and was formerly of Longmont. She worked as a CNA.
She was born on December 7, 1972 to Connie Winters in Longmont, Colorado. She married Jaime S. Solis on September 25, 1994 in Florence, Colorado.
Mellany enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking, but most especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jaime; three sons: Kris Solis, Brandon Solis, and Patrick Solis (wife Brittany); and 5 grandchildren: Jayden, Chad, Lilith, Finn, and Qira Solis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie.
A celebration of Mellany’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorials in Mellany’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
