Neva Ann Marion, age 92, passed away March 12, 2012. She was a Colorado Springs resident for 47 years.
Neva was born on November 14, 1919 in Beecher City, Illinois to Daniel E. and Sarah Elizabeth (Dial) Holman. She married William Woodrow Marion, Sr. “Rusty” on May 9, 1938. She loved Cripple Creek and also enjoyed fishing and arrowhead hunting. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her children: William W. Marion, Jr., Douglas R. Marion, Darlene E. Gates, Marilyn D. Marchet and Bonita S. Clifton; her brother, Clarence Holman; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
A Visitation will be on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Woodland Park Cemetery.
