Niles C. Whalen – August 16, 2024

Niles C. Whalen was 83 years old and lived an amazing life.  He was born in Fountain, Colorado and passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is survived by his sister, Romaine Collier; and nieces and nephews from both sisters.

He had traveled to six of the seven continents and gathered friends wherever his journeys took him. As an obsessive list keeper, he had a list of strange foods he had tried while on the road, which included turtle, whale, and yak!

Most of his working career was at Hewlett-Packard, where he retired from years later.

From family remembrances we found Niles to be a generous heart and so much fun to be with.

We love him and miss him and wish him well on his next great adventure.
