Norman Neil Hahn, Chief Master Sergeant, retired of Colorado Springs, died on February 25, 2012 at age 79.

He was born September 28, 1932 in Fargo, North Dakota.

Norm served 22 ½ years in the U.S. Air Force, with overseas assignments in Korea, Labrador, Taiwan, France, and Turkey. After retirement, he worked another 22 years in the electronics industry for TRW, now Lockheed-Martin on various government projects.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; his son, Robert of Olympia, Washington; his daughter, Laurie (husband, Jeff) Martin of Fallon, Nevada; daughter, Joyce Sevast of Colorado Springs; and three grandchildren, Holly, Tyler, and Brooke.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at First Lutheran Church, 1515 North Cascade Avenue. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the First Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
