Rebecca Arment Doyal, age 38, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a Human Resources Director for Veolia Transportation and had worked there for over 12 years. She was a loving and beloved daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, niece, and friend.

Rebecca Suzanne Arment was born on March 29, 1974 in Colorado Springs to Patrick and Alice (Nicholson) Arment. She was a 1992 graduate of Coronado High School and a member of “The Gathering” Church. She loved her family deeply, loved reading, traveling with her kids, collecting “sock monkeys”, collecting birdhouses and making jewelry with her mom. Rebecca and her children were working on their bucket list.

She is survived by her parents: Patrick and Alice Arment of Colorado Springs; her children: Sophia and Remington; her brother: Andrew (wife, Heather) Arment of Denver; her mother-in-law: On’eda Doyal of Montrose, Colorado; her grandmother: Edith Sedman of Colorado Springs; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at “The Gathering” Community Center, 16275 Kingswood Drive (off Baptist Rd. just past Gleneagle Drive), Colorado Springs, Colorado 80921.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in honor of Rebecca to the church at the above address.
