Rita Lucille Sand

Rita L. Sand, beloved wife and mother, who passed away June 2, 2015, was born October 21, 1915 to John and Adeline Carroll in Chicago, Illinois.
Rita, a fashion model for Marshall Fields, met her future husband, C. Harold Sand, a licensed architect at a popular ice cream parlor and married him a year later on June 19, 1937. He preceded her in death 55 years later.
She was a resident of Colorado Springs for over 23 years and is survived by her son, Robert of Colorado Springs, and one grandson of Seffner, Florida.
