October 11, 1932 – April 2, 2021
Robert, son of August W. and Helena C. Kelling (Haller) was born and raised in Monte Vista, Colorado. He would tell you stories about the rough winters in the Valley ~ doing farm chores and of course, walking to school in snow (you know that story!). He was a lettered football star in high school.
Robert entered the Navy in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1956.
He married Elizabeth (Jain) in 1956 and they took up residence in Kansas. Here, they welcomed daughters Karen Kay and Kathy Rene. He was a hospital administrator while raising his family.
After leaving the healthcare industry and Kansas, Robert returned to Colorado and resided in Colorado Springs. He spent the remainder of his life here in Colorado Springs with his daughters close by.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Elizabeth (Jain), daughters, Karen Kay and Kathy Rene (Robert Buchanan) and grandson Kody Buchanan.
