Ruth Mae Ball was born June 15, 1925 in Wenona, Illinois and passed away February 8, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 87.
On October 28, 1955, Ruth married Jesse O. Ball in Colorado Springs. She spent her working career in book keeping for automotive dealerships Johnson Pontiac, Bill Breck Dodge, Western Auto Rentals and Phil Long Ford.
Ruth was active at church during her lifetime and volunteered her time with the church doing book keeping. She enjoyed needle point, playing cards, was an avid Denver Broncos football fan and spending time with friends and family.
Ruth is survived by her son, David, and daughter-in-law, Paula. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Martha Block; her brother, Charles; and husband, Jesse. Ruth leaves behind so many great memories and she is deeply loved. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church located at 5265 North Union Boulevard in Colorado Springs at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.
