Sally Ann Bowman
January 10, 1944 – February 18, 2012

Sally Ann Bowman died on Saturday, February 18, 2012 and is resting in the arms of her savior Jesus.

Sally was born in Streator, Illinois on January 10, 1944 to Elbert and Celma Deal. She moved to Colorado Springs at age 11. In 1964, she married Clarence Bowman, who passed away in 1996. She is survived by two sons: Richard and Rodney; a daughter-in-law: Pandora; three grandsons: Nick, Jake, and Robert; and her brother: James Deal of San Antonio, Texas.

Sally was a certified local pastor in the Methodist Church and served many roles over the years from Sunday school teacher to education coordinator. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a lay speaker. She also worked with Westside Cares and Stephen’s Ministries as a chaplain.

Donations in Sally’s honor can be made to the Benet Center in the Pines, Trinity United Methodist Church, and Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care.

The services of Death and Resurrection will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 701 North 20th Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
