Shirley Archuleta

Shirley Archuleta passed away at 66 years old. She was a Fountain resident. She worked in the medical field as a CNA.

She was born on April 2, 1949 to Priscilla (Griego) and Merle Skeldum in Trinidad, Colorado. Shirley married Arthur Richard Archuleta on April 16 and they were married for over 40 years.

She is survived by her daughters: Brenda Archuleta (Steve), Loretta Vasquez (Glenn), Jennifer Archuleta (Mike), and Maria Hinojosa (Roy). Shirley is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughters: Valarie Archuleta and Shirley Ellen Archuleta, and a grandson, Stevie Muniz.

A Memorial service will be held on September 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs.
