I knew Steve and his incredible Mom (Lillian) through the Sons of Norway. My Parents were born and raised in Mabel, MN and the area. They grew close quickly and it was an incredible friendship built on familiarity and similar backgrounds. Mom was there when Steve passed and now his Mom just passed. I know he waited for her to arrive to show her around; my Dad passed in Feb 2025 so they’ll have a great time reminiscing about Minnesota. What an incredible Gentleman and Family man through and through. Your genuine heart will be missed, as your Mom’s.

I never met Steven, but he was a happy face walking our neighborhood every morning. His sunny smile and friendly wave will be missed.
