
Steven Roy Hermanson, 74 years old, passed away on September 12, 2025. He lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for over 50 years after growing up in Mabel, Minnesota.
He was born on May 20, 1951, to Roy and Lillian Hermanson (Inglett) in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. He attended Winona Vocational School after graduation from Mabel-Canton High School. He studied Mechanical Drafting and went to work for Wood Brothers in Colorado Springs. Later he worked for Aid Association for Lutherans (Thrivent) as a Financial Planner until he retired.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and attended the Rally in Sturgis many times. Later he was a member of the Colorado Springs Chapter of the Sons of Norway. He served as President and enjoyed helping with lutefisk dinners.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian; his sisters, Linda Redwing (brother-in-law, Charles Redwing) and Jeannie Tenney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy; his brother, Brian; and his brother-in-law, Allen Tenney.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials in Steve’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association, or the Diabetes Foundation.
