Sue Ann Miller | 1956–2026
Sue Ann Miller passed away in Colorado Springs on January 25, 2026.
She was born in Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Swafford; beloved brother, Robin Nelson; and Aunt Judy Buxmann. She leaves behind her cherished husband, Timothy Miller; son, Cameron Miller; and numerous other loved family and friends.
Sue Ann graduated from Widefield Highschool in 1974 and practiced many years as a maxillofacial surgical assistant with Dr. Leo Nasenbean. Later she worked as a dental assistant with both family practices of Cockerell and Lawrence, forming bonds forever with these families. She loved traveling, skiing, and camping with her husband and later her son. She supported both unconditionally and was loved back immensely. She was her son’s biggest champion and husband’s strongest support. She loved family and friends gathering, especially our cul-de-sac garage parties. Her laugh and smile were always a bright spot regardless of the setting. She lived a vibrant life filled with love, kindness, strength, and joy. She touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. May her memory forever inspire and support those who knew and loved her.
Please join the family in celebrating her life and holding her memory on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America https://alzfdn.org/donate tel:1-866-232-8484.
In peace, she left this life. With love, may she find the next. Safe passage on your travels, until our final rest when we will walk with you again.
