May 2, 1973 – July 29, 2025
Tamara “Tammy” Marie Snyder, age 52, of Pueblo West, Colorado, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Tammy was a vibrant and compassionate soul who made her home in Pueblo West for nearly three decades after previously residing in Colorado Springs.
Born on May 2, 1973, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Tammy was the beloved daughter of Nolan Ray Gore and Irlene Ruby Gore (Hall). She graduated from Wasson High School and later continued her education at Pueblo Community College, where she earned her degree for Visual Communications & Graphic Design in 2018.
On June 26, 1992, Tammy married the love of her life, Michael Allen Snyder, at First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs. Together, they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family.
For 13 years, Tammy dedicated herself to her role as a Customer Service Agent at FedEx, where she was known for her warm smile, helpful nature, and genuine care for others. Her love for photography, the outdoors, and simple moments spent with family and friends reflected the beauty she saw in the world around her.
Tammy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Michael Snyder; her children, Chase (Nicole) Snyder and Emily Snyder; her mother, Irlene Gore; and her siblings, Carla (John) Holley, Pattie (Jeff) Brooks, and Wade Gore.
She is preceded in death by her father, Nolan Gore, and her brother, Chris Gore.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A celebration of life ceremony will follow at 10:00 a.m., with burial at Evergreen Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
Following the burial, all are welcome to join the family for a reception at Fargo’s Pizza, 2910 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909 — a place she loved and shared with many.
Tammy’s light, laughter, and unwavering love will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all who had the joy of knowing her.
Tammy was a kind, beautiful, compassionate woman who brought light into darkness. Her candle will be missed. My prayers and sympathy go out to our nephew Mike, his children, and Tammy’s Mom and siblings and her many friends. Aunt Linda
