Thomas Hathaway, age 78, passed away on May 21st, 2025. He was a resident of Falcon, Colorado for 26 years and was formerly a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a jack of all trades-master of all, but better known as one of the most respected race car/hot rod fabricators in the region. 

Thomas was born on September 24th, 1946, to Robert W. Hathaway and Aileen (Horn) Hathaway in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On April 7th, 1966, he married Kathleen Olson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Tom was very fond of auto racing. He also enjoyed fly-fishing. He attended Palmer High School and graduated in 1964. He honorably served in the United States Army, for 3 years during Vietnam. 

He is survived by his children: Alison Lauer and Michael Hathaway; his siblings: Robert and Peter Hathaway; his grandchildren: Delaney Epps, Logan Hathaway and Madison Lauer; and his great-grandchildren: River and Easton Epps. He was preceded in death by Kathleen Hathaway, Elinor Best-Hathaway, Sandra Canty and his parents. 

A celebration of life will be held from 6pm to 9pm on June 27th, 2025, at Hathaway Performance, 6150 N. Meridian Rd in Falcon.
