Tim, age 67, passed away on January 4th, 2021. He was a native of Colorado Springs.

He was the Information Systems Supervisor for the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office for 11 years and retired in April of 2015.

Tim was born on March 19th, 1953 to Lyman Bishop and Doris (Viebrock) Bishop in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He loved his dog, Pumpkin and enjoyed taking him to the dog park. He had many talents including, Cooking, Painting, Photography, Blacksmithing, and Woodworking. He was also fond of Remote Control Vehicles/Drones and Archery. He was a master of Technology, and skilled in Engineering.

He attended Mitchell High School, and graduated in 1971. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army, Airborne Forces for 3 years.

He is survived by his Son, Timothy Bishop Jr. and Daughter-in-Law, Mallory Bishop; Grandchildren, Timothy Bishop III and Hunter Bishop; and his brothers Stanley Bishop and Jerry Bishop.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, January 15th at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO. 80910

  3. To the Bishop Family, please know how much Tim was loved. He and Pumpkin were dear friends and regular members of the Palmer Park Morning Dog Pack. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He was the first to welcome me when I adopted Lincoln and started going to the park over 2 years ago. We were with him when he passed. And his last moments were spent with friends and his beloved Pumpkin. We will miss him and his presence will be felt forever. My deepest condolences to your entire family. My prayers are with you.
