In Loving Memory of Tina Wade
December 28, 1962 – July 26, 2025
Tina Wade passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at her home in Colorado Springs, with her beloved cat “Baby” curled up faithfully by her feet. Her final moments were quiet and gentle, a reflection of the comfort she found in the place she had called home for over twenty years.
Born on December 28, 1962, in Columbus, Alabama, Tina was the cherished daughter of Jerry Wade and Joanna “Breker” Wade. Though she never married, Tina built a life rich in friendship, laughter, and community. Her journey took her through Alabama, Mississippi, and even Holland, each place leaving its mark on her vibrant spirit.
Tina was a true social butterfly, known for hosting lively pizza parties and lighting up the nearby Senior Center with her presence. At home, she found joy in the simple pleasures—crocheting with care, proudly displaying her whimsical knick-knacks from Holland, and never missing an episode of her favorite soap operas. Her laugh was unmistakable, her opinions bold, and her conversations unforgettable. She had a gift for making people feel seen and heard.
For over two decades, Tina was supported by Cheyenne Village Inc., whose care and companionship meant the world to her. She was deeply woven into the fabric of her community and will be missed by all who knew her.
Tina is survived by her brother, Patrick Wade, and many members of her extended family. She now joins her parents, Jerry and Joanna Wade, in rest.
Her absence leaves a quiet space in the hearts of those who loved her—but her memory, full of color and warmth, will continue to shine.
