Tom Rubin Peach – September 18, 2025

Tom Rubin Peach, 91, passed away on September 18, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a long private struggle with Parkinson’s.

Born on the side of a mountain in Gulnare near La Veta Pass on August 21, 1934, to Hattie and Houston Peach, Tom was proud of being a Colorado Native. Always hardworking, he was recognized by his community for his remarkable 41 years at Crissey Fowler Lumber Company where he worked his way up from forklift operator to delivery truck driver to indoor sales and ending as an assistant store manager.

Tom was an active member of Academy Christian Church for over 25 years. Tom was a caretaker of the land, his family, his animals and everything he encountered. If someone needed anything, he took care of it. He loved and was well-loved by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by Marilyn, his loving wife of 49 years: three sons, Michael Marsac (Irene Marsac), Edward Peach, and John Peach (Deanna Peach); and one daughter, Deborah Ellis; as well as 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his son, Thomas James Peach; sister, Alta Bernice Baker; and brother, Rubin Peach.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Academy Christian Church, 1635 Old Ranch Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region or Academy Christian Church.
