Ty Allen Jarboe – August 8, 2025

Ty Allen Jarboe, age 59, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away in the comfort of his home August 8, 2025, with his adopted family by his side.

He was born April 22, 1966, in Mansfield, Ohio to Gary Allen Jarboe and Margie (Fisher) Jarboe and was one of five children.

Ty worked at Goodwill Industries and attended day program until he became ill. He was known to be a ladies’ man and had many longtime girlfriends throughout his life. Ty bowled for the “High County Rollers” bowling league and was a die-hard “Dallas Cowboys” fan. Ty also loved watching wrestling, listening to Micheal Jackson, and performing “Beat It.” He was also “Will’s” biggest fan and loved him deeply. If you messed with Will, he would say to Will “call the police and send them to jail!” Ty also was a very spiritual man who attended church, and he would often tell you “God said.” Ty loved drinking his coffee, eating his hamburgers, Taco Bell, and fried chicken.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Allen Jarboe.

Ty is survived by his adopted family Will Garrett and Tahisha Wyche-Gayle; brother, Marquis Garrett; sister, Rashawna Gayle; sister, Maryanah Gayle; brother, Josiah Garrett; niece, Tori Gayle-Winston; longtime roommate, Mark Tankersly; devoted guardian,  Amber Spinks; and his mother, two brothers, and two sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, and many adopted family members, and friends.

The family of Ty Allen Jarboe would like to thank you for all who offered words of comfort and prayers during this challenging time.

A memorial Service in honor of Ty will be held at 10:00AM, on Friday, August 22, 2025, followed by a witnessed scattering in the Rose Garden at 11:00AM, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A repass will be held right after service at The Purple Onion, 1840 North Academy Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.

    I’m Ty’s Mom, I want to Thank the William Family from the bottom of my heart, for loving, caring you gave my Special Son.
    You gave him the life I could not. I know he was very happy and had a great life. I will be forever grateful. He is now reunited with his father and soon Ty and I will be reunited again.
