Valerie Louise Haines, 78 years old, passed away on November 10, 2025. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, for four years and was formerly a resident of Aurora, Colorado. She was a contract administrator and database researcher.
Valerie was born on October 25, 1947, to Albert and Ethel Deak (Steinfatt) in Blue Island, Illinois.
She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Bolen and Marion (Roger) White; and her brother, Alexander Deak; and several nieces and nephews.
Valerie enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends and her cat, Jazzy. She was a member of Fellowship Community Church, Centennial, Colorado. She attended Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, Illinois, and graduated in 1965.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Deak and Ethel Deak.
Valerie’s wish was to be cremated and her ashes scattered in the Colorado mountains.
