Survived by two sons, Jack R. Clay and Joe L. Clay; two daughters, Eva R. Hempel and Julia A. Kaufman; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial service, 2 p.m. Thursday, Shrine of Remembrance ‘America the Beautiful’ Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard. A reception will follow services at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
