Virginia Taylor, age 88, passed away on March 12, 2015. She was a resident of Security, Colorado for 48 years.
Virginia was born on February 5, 1927 to John and Ethel (Wilson) Newhouse in Slate, West Virginia. She married Alpha Taylor on December 25, 1947.
Virginia attended high school in Elizabeth, West Virginia. To her friends and family she was known as Jenny. She had a great sense of humor and was always kidding around. She loved to travel and “always wanted to see what was on the other side of the hill.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alpha, and is survived by her four children: Rebecca Taylor, John Taylor (Bernadette), Judy Bartlett (Charles), and James Taylor. There are also eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Blvd. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2 p.m.
