It is with profound sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Virginia “Vee” Elizabeth, who left this world on October 12, 2025, at the age of 31. Though her time with us was far too short, her light and love were immeasurable beyond words and her spirit spectacularly bright.
Vee brought light and laughter into every room she entered. Her kindness was boundless, her smile radiant, and her heart open to all. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, and a soul who made life richer for those lucky enough to know her.
Vee had a passion for all animals large and small. In her ideal world, she would have had a farm with lots of chickens, baby goats, and puppies; and would have openly shared this experience with everyone.
She is survived by her loving parents, Michella Batchelor and Steven Hill; her siblings, Connor Hill and Rilie Batchelor; stepfather, Brent Batchelor; and stepmother, Connie Ruma; fiancé, Paul Fiesel; as well as a wide circle of family and friends who will carry her memory forever in their hearts. Her absence leaves a space that will never be filled, but her love remains a guiding light.
A celebration of Vee’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will follow the service at 3:00pm across the street at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests you remember her in your prayers.
Though we grieve, we also give thanks—for every moment, every laugh, every hug. Vee meant the world to us.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts. We love you Vee more than you’ll ever know.

We are praying for all of you as you walk through this season of grief.
With sympathy and love,
“Someone so special can never be forgotten.” My condolences to the family.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
She is beautiful, Michella. She will continue to live on in your hearts forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God grant you peace. Love you.
I did not have the pleasure of knowing Vee, but if she is like her Mom and her
Brother she had to be a special person. She was taken too soon but she is God’s arms now.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss.
May God Bless you,
Elaine
