With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Viridiana Flores, lovingly known as “Viry” or “Skinny”, who left us too soon on April 16, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was 27 years old.

Viry was born on October 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, and brought laughter, love, and fierce loyalty to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her two beautiful children, Ava Madison Walter and Walter Wilcox IIII, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her devoted parents, Rita Flores de Nova and Guillermo Ramirez; her loving siblings, Jessica Ramirez, Vanessa Ramirez, and Jose Flores; and many friends and extended family members who will miss her deeply.

Viry had a bold spirit and a heart full of love. She was known for her sense of humor, loud laugh, and quick wit – always ready with a joke, no matter how hard life got. Her strength and stubborn streak were matched only by her ability to care fiercely for those she loved.

She recently found joy in curating vintage clothing for her children and was especially drawn to the comforting nostalgia of Winnie the Pooh. Her favorite books came from Rupi Kaur, whose words often mirrored Viry’s own strength and tenderness.

Though her time with us was far too short, Viry will be remembered most as a loving mother, a hilarious sister, a cherished daughter to our parents, and a woman who embraced life on her own terms.

In her honor, we share a quote she loved:

“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you know.

But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.”
— A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh

Her family invites all who knew and loved her to celebrate her life and carry forward her light, laughter, and love.
