William Hall Inskeep, age 84, went home to Jesus on March 26, 2016. Bill was born on September 17, 1931 to John Inskeep and Erma (Howell) Inskeep in Paonia, CO, the first son of four children. The four children are his older twin sisters, Velma Jean (Inskeep) Fazio and Alma Jane (Inskeep) Lewis and younger brother, Clifford Dean Inskeep.

In his earlier years he was a resident of La Junta, CO and has lived in Colorado Springs for many years. The last sixteen years he has been under the loving care of George Anderson, who has been like family. In addition the family is beholden to ARC and Dungarvin whom have been advocates for Bill for years.

Bill, being a faithful Christian, had a rich relationship with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He shared his faith with many people, both friends and strangers. Despite his many trials and hardships in life, he never complained. He was always joyful, always thankful with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. Bill was truly grateful for his Lord Jesus, family and friends.

He also enjoyed Gospel and Country music, visiting with friends and strangers, working on farms and fun trips to Cripple Creek playing the penny slots. He had great times fantasizing that he had been a WWII General, a cowboy, a sheriff, a boxer, owner of many properties including Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home which makes it fitting that his service is here.

He is survived by his loving family, sister, Alma Jane (Inskeep) Lewis of La Junta, CO. Also nieces, Rose Simpson Axelson (Glenn), Carol McClure Brown (Claye), Gale Ann (Watts) Raymond and Sandi Watts Brown (Bill). Great nieces, Shannon Raymond, Cory Brown Morris, Casi Brown Wilkerson, Tiphaine Raymond Barter, Terrill Brown Hennefer and Adrianne Axelson as well as great nephews Troy G. Raymond and Jesse Holdren. Bill felt blessed to also have many great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both his parents, John and Erma Inskeep, brother Clifford Dean Inskeep, sister Velma Jean (Inskeep) Fazio, brother-in-law Charlie Lewis, nieces Monica Holdren, Sharon Taulman and great-niece Brandi Travers, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home at 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910. The service is being held at 10 AM on Friday, April 1, 2016 also at Shrine of Remembrance. Following the service the family invites you to a reception.

Interment will follow the reception in La Junta, CO at the Fairview Cemetery at 2PM. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of your choice.
