The family of Alicia Gutierrez Olivas is heartbroken to share the news of her passing on April 29, 2026.
Born on May 17, 1965, in Mexico, Alicia lived a beautiful and meaningful life. She touched the hearts of everyone she met, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her was truly blessed. Alicia had a strong sense of justice, always standing up for what was right, and she carried a deep love of learning throughout her life. No matter the challenge or circumstance, she found a way to bring light, strength, and understanding to every situation.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Emeric, and her children: Karina, Israel, Vanessa, and Alexandra. Alicia was a remarkable mother—strong, compassionate, and endlessly giving. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she would do anything for those she held dear.
She will also be deeply missed by her mother; her brothers and sisters; her daughter-in-law, Pamela; and her many cherished friends whose lives she enriched with her kindness and warmth.
A celebration of Alicia’s life will be held at St. Dominic’s Church on May 7, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at 5354 US-85, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her beloved brother, Armando, and her father, Eduardo.

Nacida el 17 de mayo de 1965 en México, Alicia vivió una vida hermosa y significativa. Tocó los corazones de todos quienes la conocieron, y quienes tuvieron el privilegio de tratarla fueron verdaderamente bendecidos. Alicia tenía un fuerte sentido de la justicia, siempre defendiendo lo correcto, y mantuvo a lo largo de su vida un profundo amor por el aprendizaje.
