Allen Joseph Yankowsky, age 59, passed away on April 2, 2024. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 47 years and spent the first years of his life in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked at the post office as a mail sorter.

Allen was born on June 5, 1964, to Albert Joseph Yankowsky and Marjorie Ann (Meyer) Yankowsky.

Allen was a member of the 501st where he enjoyed participating in the Star Wars events. He also enjoyed riding his Harley.  He graduated from Falcon High School in 1982.

He is survived by his siblings: Kathy Meyer and Paul Yankowsky. He was preceded in death by Marjorie and Albert.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 27,2024, at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will be held following the funeral at 12:00 (noon) Legends Brews & Cues on 2790 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
