Arlene J. Henderson, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away in the early morning hours of November 10, 2023, just a few days short of her 90th birthday.
She was born in Sharon Springs, KS to Lyman W. Fry and Ina M. (Epperson) Fry.
She moved to Colorado Springs in 1957 to attend nursing training at Penrose Hospital.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Joe D. Henderson; and also by their four children: Jolene, Joe, Donna and Diane; as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Arlene enjoyed family camping trips; traveling and wintering in Arizona after Joe’s retirement; had a beautiful yard and flower beds filled with roses, iris and blooming bushes; playing cards and games.
No services will be held. She is entombed at the Shrine of Remembrance.
