Beverly Anne Brown – May 25, 2026

Beverly Anne Brown, 86, of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully Monday, May 25, 2026, with family by her side after battling Dementia. She was born January 16, 1940, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Allan and Evelyn Brown. She spent many years as a schoolteacher for American military children in Okinawa, Japan. She had a passion for education. That passion was matched with her love of travel. She was always exploring the world any moment she could, taking in the cultures of the places she visited. Her biggest love though was her friends and family. Her friendships and relationships were unmatched with a strong community always surrounding her. 

She is survived by her brother, George Brown; nieces and nephews: Sean Brown (Katie), Mark Galban (Aimee), Kimberly Galban (Erling), and Robin Brown Mulchrone (Michael). She is a beloved great aunt to Ava, Mateo, Mia, Maxwell, Louisa, Miles and Banks.

Visitation and services will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, with a private burial the next day.
