October 22, 1997 – October 8, 2023

Brandon Michael Vincent Wheatley, a lifelong Colorado Springs and Fountain resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Brandon was born on October 22, 1997 to Vincent Shane Wheatley and Diana Marie Rowell in Colorado Springs.  He graduated from Mesa Ridge High School in Fountain, Colorado.

He was an independent contractor who was becoming a skilled craftsman working alongside his father specializing in whole house cabinetry, and fine woodworking.

Brandon was very polite, respectful, and kind, with a willingness to help anyone in need.  He loved deeply and we wholeheartedly loved him back.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hiking, particularly with his fiancée and friends and family.  He also liked classic cars, watching movies and listening to music of all types. He was also exploring his Christianity and his relationship with God.

We will keep him in our hearts and miss his caring nature.  May God keep him and love him as deeply as his family and friends do.

He is survived by his parents: Vincent Shane Wheatley and Diana Marie Rowell; step-mother, Jennifer Schwerffeger; siblings: Dallas Wheatley and Brianna Fletcher (Connor); grandmother, Paula (Wheatley) Heyedman; grandfather, David Rowell (Kimberly); his fiancée, Leanne Perez, and her parents, Julio Caesar Perez and Maria del Carmen Perez; his dog and four cats.  He was preceded in death by grandfather, Leonard Wheatley; and grandmother, Colette Shinberger.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.  A celebration of life service is being planned by the family for the future.
