Celia V. Larreau passed away on November 25, 2021. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 62 years and was formerly a resident of Denver.
Celia was born on November 29, 1926 to James Wilson and Catherine (Basgleoppo) Wilson in Exmouth, England. On September 12, 1945 she married Maxell Larreau in Exmouth, England.
Celia was a homemaker who was fond of knitting and canning. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catohlic Church.
She is survived by her sons Keith (Barbara) of Sun City, AZ, and James, of Colorado Springs, her brother Peter of Exmouth, England, her grandchildren Keith Jr, Marnie Pagan, Jason, Todd, Katrina Sutton and Katrisha, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers, and 7 sisters.
A funeral mass will be held at 10am on January 7, 2022 at St. Dominic Catholic Church 5354 US-85, Colorado Springs, CO 80911. Interment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance 1430 East Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 following the mass.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association – Colorado Springs office , 2315 Bott Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
