Clarence Allen Medina, also known as “Gator”, was born on June 5, 1957, in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Patrick A. Medina and Madelina I. DeHerrera. On November 19, 2023, Gator took his final walk on this earth and took his last breath of fresh air surrounded by his family.

He is survived by 11 children: Curtis, Janice, Debra, Monica, Cecilia, Nicole, Denna, Matthew, Andrea, Robert, Michelle; 26 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Patrick, Jimmy (Roberta), Jerry, Ricky (Carol), Mitchell Medina; sister, Debra (Dennis) Moreno; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gator had a special relationship with everyone he came across, he loved to get away and fish with his buddies, and just make his rounds around town. He always had a gift to give, turns out he was our gift!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Madelina Medina; grandparents, Crestino and Marina Medina; sister, Joyce; brothers: Michael, Evan, Lenny; son, Anthony Michael; nephew, Anthony; and niece, Monica.

During his earthly journey, he carried his heart on his shoulder, his smile and his laugh will be forever indented in those he left behind.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 5:00 pm and a Rosary following at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 South Corona Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905 followed by a Burial at 12:30 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
