We honor the life of Daniel Morente Cabrera. Born in Bauang, La Union, Philippines, he moved to California where he served proudly in the Navy.  Following his military service, Daniel spent most of his career as a dedicated electrical engineer working for various companies in the Silicon Valley.  Later, he relocated to Colorado, following his wife Estela’s career at Apple, where they continued to build their family life.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Estela Cabrera, and their children: Lanny Jeffries and her husband, Jason; Jen Labbate, with her husband, Marco and daughter, Ava; Sean Cabrera and his wife, Phuong, along with their son Stephen. He is also survived by his loving two brothers; and three sisters. His beloved dog, Joy, and his brother-in-law, Paulino Meana, also mourn his passing.

Daniel had a deep love for chess and enjoyed watching documentaries, especially on Animal Planet. He was also a fan of the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers.

Join us for a Celebration of Life on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, where we will share memories and honor Daniel’s life. On Monday, military honors followed by the burial will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, recognizing his service to our country.

We welcome you to join us in remembering Daniel’s life and sharing stories that highlight the moments we cherished together.
