Danuta Bronislawa Budz, age 63, passed away on September 2, 2023.  She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Danuta was born on March 13, 1960, to Jan and Ludwina (Las) Mrowca in Gronków, Poland.

On January 24, 1981, she married the love of her life, Jozef Budz, in Chicago, Illinois.  Danuta loved her family deeply.  She enjoyed baking, especially for special events, singing, dancing, reading, traveling, and most importantly, praying.  Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends and spending time with them.

She was a devout catholic and proud of her Polish heritage.  She was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and when possible attended Polish mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Southgate.  When she was no longer able to attend mass in person, she enjoyed watching the weekly live streams of Polish mass from the Carmelite Fathers in Munster, Indiana, especially those with “Goralskie” music celebrations.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jozef; her children:  Bernadetta (Janusz) Kania, Basia Budz; her brother, Jozef Mrowca; and countless nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jan and Ludwina Mrowca; her brother, Stanislaw Mrowca; and her sister, Anna Mrowca.
