Deborah Kay Harmon, age 56, went to her heavenly home on October 9th, 2021, surrounded by her family.

A native of Colorado, Debbie was born on October 22, 1964, to Charles Duran Sr. and Theresa Duran in Colorado Springs. On April 28, 2001, she married Tim Harmon in Colorado Springs and they had 20 wonderful years together.

Debbie was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her family and spending time with them; her family meant the world to her. Debbie and Tim loved traveling and seeing the world together; whether it was a quick weekend trip or a weeklong RV stay, they were always happy to just spend time together. She enjoyed spending her summers down at Pueblo Reservoir with friends and family, enjoying the water and sunshine out on the boat during the day and a good fire at night. She was an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed going to games or hosting the game for others at her home. Debbie was an extremely gracious host and always enjoyed cooking for others, the first thing she did when you went to her home was feed you and make you feel welcome. Debbie was extremely generous and would have given anyone the shirt off her back if they needed it.

Debbie was a dedicated employee and always treated everyone with the utmost respect.  For the past 12 years Debbie was the Sr. Vice President of Operations Western Region at MSN Healthcare Solutions.

Debbie is preceded in death by her older sister, Deena Kay Duran, father Charles Duran Sr., and great-nephew Dean Berry.

She is survived by her husband Tim, and mother Theresa Duran, her brother Chuck Duran, and sister Lisa Duran, her son Zach, and granddaughter Vaira. She also has several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church on October 29th, 2021, at 10:00 am. There will be a graveside burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, followed by a reception at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to Debbie’s favorite charity, The Jessie Rees Foundation at negu.org. This foundation provides encouragement and support for families impacted by childhood cancer.
