Floyd Clay Robertson – August 13, 2026

Floyd Clay Robertson, age 73, passed away on August 13, 2026. He was the Director of the Kinder Morgan Land Department before his retirement in 2021. He also served as President of the Sagebrush Habitat Conservation Fund until his death.

Floyd was born on November 10, 1952 to Ham and Betty Robertson in El Paso, Texas. On October 15, 1977, he married Terri Lynn Moore in Amarillo, Texas.

Floyd was an avid golfer and dog lover. He also enjoyed all types of music, reading, traveling, and being with his friends and family. He attended West Texas State University, earning a Master’s Degree in Political Science in 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Terri; his children, Brett and Megan; their spouses, Glenda and Josh; and his three grandchildren, Asher, Kaitlyn, and Matt. He is also survived by his sister, Martha, and her husband, Chris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ham and Betty.

Floyd preferred there be no services upon his passing. His ashes will be scattered at the Rock of Ages scattering garden at the Shrine of Remembrance.

Memorials in Floyd’s name may be made to the American Red Cross, English Springer Rescue America (ESRA), Pacific Whale Foundation, or Sagebrush Habitat Conservation Fund.

Floyd was loved by all who knew him. He always looked for the good in people and loved his family dearly.
